At Selfridge Builders, we understand that it's not homes that make a community; it's the people living in them.

For this reason, we are proud to participate in a number of programs that help sustain our community and improve the lives of others.

• Donated the use of two homes, one for the Domestic Violence Service of Howard County and the other for the Congregations Concerned for the Homeless.
• In 2008, Selfridge Builders' staff and subcontractors donated their time and talents to help the Howard County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity work on three homes.
• For its significant contribution, Selfridge Builders was named a Major Donor to the Howard County Lighted Stadium project, ensuring that area high schools receive adequate lighting for outdoor sporting events.
• For many years, Jim and Christina Selfridge have donated their time and talents to a number of Howard County school and youth programs.
• A firm believer in the lessons learned through participation in sports, Jim Selfridge volunteers as head coach of the Glenelg High School junior varsity football team.
• The Selfridge Family Foundation also contributes separately to a variety of charities throughout the area.
